"In my opinion, everyone’s classic idea of a doctor is an ER doctor who can cover a bit of everything, the way doctors did fifty years ago. Now days, most doctors are specialists, but I like having my own family practice to follow my patients beyond the emergency room."
Offering twelve years of experience as an emergency room physician and hospitalist, and five years in private practice, Dr. Rainwater is here to care for you and all your family.
LFMC is not only a family focused clinic, but a family run business. Dr. Rainwater is married to Tammy Shewmake Rainwater and they have four children, Derek, Allison, Megan, and Summer.
Dr. Rainwater holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Louisina State University School of Medicine, and a Masters of Science in Physiology from LSUMC-S.
